Shaw Resources Management LLC is seeking an experienced Geological Technician responsible for technical and land team support

with data tracking, analysis, and data management for oil and gas properties.

What You’ll Do

•Track production, operational activity, rig status, and permit data

•Create and maintain maps, spreadsheets, analyses, and PowerPoint presentations

•Organize and manage digital and physical technical files

•Collaborate closely with technical and land departments and management

 

What We’re Looking For

•3+ years of experience as a Geological Technician using Petra and previous experience working at an oil and gas company required

•Strong technical, math, and computer skills

•Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, database management, and industry research tools

•Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required

•Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team

•Ability to manage large data sets, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
